Oxford City Pool

Re-Opening Summer 2025

We know so many in our community are so glad that the pool is re-opened after a year hiatus in 2024

General Overview

The hours open to the public will be 1 to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Entry cost, per person age 3 to 55, will be $3. Those over 55 and under the age of 3 will be admitted for free. There are also individual and family memberships available for purchase by logging into your OPC website accounts. 

Swimming Lessons

Our lifeguard staff will be instructing youth in swimming lessons during the summer. Lessons for kids will be for ages 4 to 12. Registration for the July session will begin on Monday, June 16. Lessons will be hosted in the morning from 10 to 10:45 and 11 to 11:45. We will also provide lessons from 6 to 6:45 in the evening during the week. There will NOT be any lessons during the week of the 4th of July.

Lap Swim 

There will be lap swim available for members of the community Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. until noon. We ask that anyone who wants to participate to please register online at oxfordparkcommission.com. Lap swim will be free.  


LLO Water Aerobics

For those age 40 and up, there will be free water aerobics available. Registration for these classes can be completed online or in person. Water aerobics will begin Monday, June 2 and classes are hosted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9 to 9:45.  

Pool Regulations

 

1.         NON-SWIMMERS and Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at least 18 years of age, and this person must be able to swim.

2.         Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult or guardian at least 18 years of age at ALL TIMES

3.         All persons entering the pool must pay even if they do not swim.

4.         No cut-offs or street clothes, no cotton knit swimwear, no thongs will be allowed into the pool area. Bathing suits only.

5.          All patrons shall comply with directives of life guards and/or pool manager.

6.          Persons with communicable diseases, nasal or ear discharges, boils, rashes, open sores, or wearing bandages are forbidden to enter the pool.

7.          Each swimmer must shower off and rinse completely before entering the pool.

8.          Disrobing is allowed only in changing areas (including small children and babies).

9.          Water supervision is required for non-swimmers and non-swimmers are allowed only in shallow areas.

10.        Patrons are required to exit pool utilizing the ladders.

11.        No diapers are allowed in the pools.  Rubber pants must be worn at all times.  Persons (children) that have a bowel movement in the water will be asked to leave the facility.

12.         There will be no hanging or sitting on the ramp railing.

13.         The pool capacity limit will be enforced.

14.         One patron at a time on the slide.

15.         No alcohol, tobacco, illegal substances, or smoking of any kind are allowed anywhere on the premises.

16.         No pets allowed in or around the pool area.

17.         No profanity, vulgar remarks, or improper behavior.

18.         No glass bottles, food, or drinks in the pool area.

19.         All food and drinks must be kept in the enclosed seating area

20.         No water rings, rafts, or floats

21.         US Coast Guard approved PFD, Puddle jumpers, and infant floats are allowed

22.         No Coolers are allowed for any reason

23.         NO RE-ENTRY into the pool
