2024 Sport & Social Kickball - Summer

For the seventh straight year, we will be conducting an adult kickball league for the Oxford Sport & Social Club. The games will be held at mTrade Park in Quad A on Monday nights only. The league will be co-ed and open to ages 16 and above. Rule number one is "Let's Have Fun."

- This league was founded on and is guided by three main principles; being a great excuse to get adults outside and have fun, helping them expand their social network to make new friends, and giving back to the Oxford community.

- Operating under the guide of an adult kickball league, the rules mimic that of 4th grade recess; permitting kickball enthusiasts, of all athletic abilities to play. This league provides a great excuse to get off the couch, kick a ball around, meet new friends, and of course laugh at your old ones.

-There is no limit to the size of your team and everyone gets to play!

OPC Recreational Running

Learn the fundamentals of running with the help of Cole Bullock, Ole Miss Track and Cross Country athlete. Cole has been running and training in the sport for the past 12 years. Sessions will be hosted at the Ole Miss Whirlpool Rail Trail from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. starting on Monday, May 13. We will also host training on May 15, May 17, May 19, and May 29.

Learn stretching, striding, sprinting, and pacing techniques to up level your fitness and running consistency.

2024 Youth Cheerleading Basketball - Summer

The Oxford Park Commission's Youth Cheerleading program is for kids age 6 – 14. Participants must turn 6 years of age on or before September 1st of the current year. The Cheer teams will be lead by Parent volunteers. Please sign up for a volunteer role if you can coach. Cheer will have four seasons two cheering for Youth Flag Football and two cheering for Youth Basketball. Cheering will not be a competitive sport. They will be assigned a football and basketball team to cheer for.


Cost is $50/player if you are a new cheerleader or $25 if returning from flag football season.

2024 (Pre)Team USAG Silver Gymnastics - Summer

Quality developmental gymnastics and tumbling programs to the youth of the community in a wholesome and nurturing environment. The programs start with ages 5-up.

Advanced: mastered cartwheels, round offs, and has strength to bridge and kick over by themselves to work backhand springs, tucks, layouts 1/2 and full. All classes include some work in basic USAG requirements for balance beam, vault, and uneven bars.

Team and Pre-team: for kids that can't get enough gymnastics and spend a good bit of their time outside the gym upside down.

2024 LLO Adaptive Chair Yoga w/Deborah/May-August

Adaptive Chair Yoga
In Adaptive Chair Yoga we structure the class to fit your needs with the use of props that can include a chair, blocks, straps, or bolsters. We will cover all the basic yoga poses with an emphasis on breath and alignment to work on strength and mobility without stress or strain. The class can be done exclusively sitting on a chair, or you can use the chair for support in standing or kneeling poses. You choose the level of adaptation that is right for you.

The class will be on Fridays in the Coach Howell Center in room 106/107 @ 10:30 am-11:30 am

Dancing with a twist is a cardio-dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fitness party atmosphere. People of all ages, shapes, and sizes are encouraged to attend this class. You do not have to be a great dancer to attend just be ready to “shake what your mama gave you”.

2024 OPC Basketball Development Camp - Summer

OPC Basketball Development Camp is a instructional program that is open for boys and girls ages 8 to 14. It will be led by Brian Rucker with the Tupelo Saints Basketball Association. OPC Basketball Development Camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game, dribbling, passing, shooting, while also incorporating the strategy of basketball. OPC Basketball Development Camp will be held on Monday and Tuesday Afternoons in the Coach Howell Center.

2024 Sport & Social - Adult Volleyball - Summer

This year we will begin a Adult Volleyball league that will consist of co ed team members ages 16 and older. Games will be played with teams of 6v6 with a maximum of 10 team members. This league will begin May 22nd and run through June 12th. Each game will consist of 3 sets of 15, the team has to win by 2 points. Games will be played from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with one to two games a night each Wednesday night of the week.

The Oxford Park Commission sponsors a youth basketball program for kids age 7– 15 as of 9/1/2023. Registration for this program will come to a close on May 5. The 2024 Youth Basketball Summer Season Games will be played during the week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday), early June - late July, while practices begin in May. Fee for the program is $45. 2024 North MS Wrestling Club - Spring/Summer

The objective of the class will be to introduce participants to the sport of wrestling and improve in a fun and exciting environment. Improve the individual's agility, strength, and self-confidence. Wrestling is a great way for your child to build character and learn self-defense. This program strives to build champions on and off the mat.

We will be focusing on folk-style wrestling.
