2024-2025 Basketball Youth - Winter

The Oxford Park Commission sponsors a youth basketball program for kids age 7– 15 as of 9/1 of the current year (2024). Registration for this program will come to a close on Nov. 3. The 2024-2025 Youth Basketball Season Games will be played during the week, early January - late February, while practices begin in December. Fee for the program is $60-$65. There will be additional fees for service fee and credit card fee.

2025 Youth Cheerleading Basketball - Winter

The Oxford Park Commission's Youth Cheerleading program is for kids age 6 – 14. Participants must turn 6 years of age on or before September 1st of the current year. The Cheer teams will be lead by Parent volunteers. Please sign up for a volunteer role if you can coach. Cheer will have two seasons one cheering for Youth Flag Football and one cheering for Youth Basketball. Cheering will not be a competitive sport. They will be assigned a football and basketball team to cheer for.

Games will be played from early October until mid November for youth flag football and January until mid March for youth basketball. Game days will be Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evening.

Cost is $50/player if you are a new cheerleader or $25 if returning from flag football season.

2024 Pickleball League Fall

 The format of play is designed so that players play mostly with others of similar skill levels. Your ranking on a ladder is based upon your winning percentage (the ratio of points won to total points possible). Players will move up or down the ladder based upon their total points that day.  We will start play October 14. The first two weeks will be warm up weeks, to evaluate everyone's level of play. The league will play in the evenings warm ups at 5:00 -5:30 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Saturday the exact day of play is still open.

2024 - Fall Break Day Camp - Fall

Camp for kids age 5-13 during Fall Break. The Camp will run from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. for the week of Oct. 7th thru the 11th. Please have your child/ren to camp by 9:30am and they can be picked up any time before 5:30pm. The camp is full of activities with traditional, nontraditional, arts and crafts, table top games and much more. The child/ren must be self reliant as far as using the restroom. Each child/ren is required to bring two snacks and a lunch each day. We do a lot of running activities, so please wear suitable clothing.

2024 Intermediate Gymnastics - Fall

This program offers quality developmental gymnastics and tumbling programs to the youth of the community in a wholesome and nurturing environment.

Intermediate/Advanced: mastered cartwheels, round offs, and has strength to bridge and kick over by themselves to work backhand springs, tucks, layouts 1/2 and full. All classes include some work in basic USAG requirements for balance beam, vault, and uneven bars.

All Around Gymnastics: Focus on training for all USAG appropriate skills

2024 League of Champions Volleyball - Fall

The League of Champions is an adaptive Volleyball program for individuals with physical and intellectual challenges. One of the benefits of having a League of Champions is that it encourages the use of "buddies" for the players. The buddies assist the participants, but whenever possible, encourage them to do things for themselves.

A buddy players may also sign up to play. These are players that will participate as well as help the athletes with physical and intellectual challenges.

2024 LLO Adaptive Chair Yoga Sept-Dec

Adaptive Chair Yoga
In Adaptive Chair Yoga we structure the class to fit your needs with the use of props that can include a chair, blocks, straps, or bolsters. We will cover all the basic yoga poses with an emphasis on breath and alignment to work on strength and mobility without stress or strain. The class can be done exclusively sitting on a chair, or you can use the chair for support in standing or kneeling poses. You choose the level of adaptation that is right for you.

The class will be on Tuesdays and Fridays in the Coach Howell Center in room 106/107 @ 10:30 am-11:30 am

2024 Karate - Fall

Master Woods Karate classes cater to men, women, and children with all different levels of experience. We are dedicated to developing your martial art skills. Elements that will be covered consist of: karate, kung-fu, Kobudo, stick fighting, sparring, self-defense, and bag work.

Students will develop and build personal character traits such as self-discipline, self-control, self-confidence, coordination, flexibility, agility, focus, and respect. 2024 North MS Wrestling Club Lessons - Fall

The objective of the class will be to introduce participants to the sport of wrestling and improve in a fun and exciting environment. Improve the individual's agility, strength, and self-confidence. Wrestling is a great way for your child to build character and learn self-defense. This program strives to build champions on and off the mat.

We will be focusing on folk-style wrestling.

mTrade Park Travel Teams- FALL 2024

For current coaches/managers of travel baseball/softball teams. This registration form allows the staff at mTrade Park to properly determine practice rates for the upcoming Spring season. Travel coaches and managers will need to register their team through the OPC website to finalize their registration and payment for the upcoming fall season. You will NOT be able to create an account or access the online practice scheduler until this process is complete and your team has paid for the season.

If you are registering multiple teams, EACH team must be registered SEPARATELY. If you cannot access the original registration link when registering a second/third team, please fill out 'local teams 2' or 'non local teams 2'.

2024 Mini Sluggers - Fall

Mini Sluggers serves as an introduction to the fundamental skills needed for baseball/softball. Each session will focus on these skills - fielding, throwing, batting, and base running. Mini Sluggers will run for 6 weeks and is for children who are 4 yrs old by 9/30 of the current year. 

This program will run for six consecutive Tuesdays, starting on October 15th.
