2024 North MS Wrestling Club Lessons - Fall

The objective of the class will be to introduce participants to the sport of wrestling and improve in a fun and exciting environment. Improve the individual's agility, strength, and self-confidence. Wrestling is a great way for your child to build character and learn self-defense. This program strives to build champions on and off the mat.

We will be focusing on folk-style wrestling.

Ages: Youth ages 5-11 & 12-18
Dates: Tuesdays & Thursdays/5-6p (5-11 yrs); Monday & Wednesday/4-5:30p (12-18 yrs)

2024 Volleyball All-Skills Clinic - Fall

This clinic is best suited for beginner to intermediate level volleyball players. We will focus on fundamental training and concentrate on individual skills. We will teach each player the fundamentals of passing, setting, serving and hitting. After completion of the clinic, each player will be able to step onto a volleyball court and play the game with confidence.

Ages: 8-10 and 11-14 yr olds
Dates: August 5 – August 15 (2 weeks)
Time: 8-10yrs -4-5p (Monday & Wednesday); 11-14yrs - 4-5p (Tuesday & Thursday)

mTrade Park Travel Teams- FALL 2024

For current coaches/managers of travel baseball/softball teams. This registration form allows the staff at mTrade Park to properly determine practice rates for the upcoming Spring season. Travel coaches and managers will need to register their team through the OPC website to finalize their registration and payment for the upcoming fall season. You will NOT be able to create an account or access the online practice scheduler until this process is complete and your team has paid for the season.

If you are registering multiple teams, EACH team must be registered SEPARATELY. If you cannot access the original registration link when registering a second/third team, please fill out 'local teams 2' or 'non local teams 2'.

The FALL fee rates are determined by the number of non-local vs local players of Lafayette County that you submit on your roster on your registration form.

$200 practice fee for LOCAL TEAMS:

2024 Baseball Youth - Fall

OPC's Youth Fall Baseball is offered for kids 6-15. Participant's age is determined by 4/30 of the following year. The 2024 Season games will be played on Wednesday evenings, mid September to end of October/early November- practices begin in late August. 

This is a transitional program where the players will 'Move Up' to the age division they will play in the following Spring.

Cost is $45 per player. (This does not include the service fee & credit card convenience fee.)

Special requests for team placement are limited only to family members. Special circumstances related to coaching may be accommodated based on direct need. Each team will have a head coach, and that head coach can request one assistant coach for kid pitch (9 and older)/ two assistant coaches for coach pitch (6 to 8 year-olds) if needed, prior to the season.

2024 Mini Kickers - Fall

Mini Kickers is an intro to physical activity in a fun, structured way to get children introduced to moving with a soccer ball. Key fundamentals that will be worked on include dribbling, turning, receiving and striking the ball. In this age group we focus on the individual players in a small group setting. Oxford High soccer coach Hunter Crane and his players will be leading the weekly instruction.

2024 LLO Adaptive Chair Yoga w/Deborah/May-August

Adaptive Chair Yoga
In Adaptive Chair Yoga we structure the class to fit your needs with the use of props that can include a chair, blocks, straps, or bolsters. We will cover all the basic yoga poses with an emphasis on breath and alignment to work on strength and mobility without stress or strain. The class can be done exclusively sitting on a chair, or you can use the chair for support in standing or kneeling poses. You choose the level of adaptation that is right for you.

The class will be on Fridays in the Coach Howell Center in room 106/107 @ 10:30 am-11:30 am
