Youth Flag Football League Information

The Oxford Park Commission co-sponsors a youth flag football program for kids age 6 – 12. Participants must turn 6 years of age on or before September 1st of the current year.   Ages are divided into the following leagues: 6-7 This is an introductory level league designed to teach the basic fundamentals of football (throwing, running, catching). 8-9 This is a follow-up to the 6-7 league.  However, this league is designed to address more individual football skills (Passing, Route running and designed running plays). Teams are drafted based on coaches' ratings during an observation clinic. 10-12 The 10-12 league is the most athletic age group for OPC.  The games are at a faster pace and the skill level of the participants is exciting to watch. Teams are drafted based on coaches' ratings during an observation clinic.     All games for youth flag football will be played at FNC Park. Games are generally played Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings.

Clinic will be held at FNC Park.  Check-in will be at the concession stand on the youth soccer fields.
