Adult Basketball League Information




The Oxford Park Commission offers a slow-break basketball league for participants ages 18 and up.  The league runs January - February. Registration is held in November.  

Slow-break is a style of basketball in which the offense cannot advance the ball past half-court until the defense has crossed the half-court line.  This provides not only for a safe league for our participants, but also for a very competitive league.   

The last two minutes of each half are played with fast-break (regular) basketball rules.  Most games are decided in the closing minutes and makes for a very enjoyable league for participants and fans alike.  

All games for Adult Basketball are played at the Activity Center. Games will be played Sunday & Wednesday evenings.
