Basketball T he Oxford Park Commission offers a slow-break basketball league for participants ages 18-up. The league runs January - February.Registration is held in November.
Slow-break is a style of basketball in which the offense cannot advance the ball past half-court until the defense has crossed the half-court line. This provides not only for a safe league for our participants, but also for a very competitive league.
The last two minutes of each half are played with fast-break (regular) basketball rules. Most games are decided in the closing minutes and makes for a very enjoyable league for participants and fans alike.
The registration fee is $280.
All games for Adult Basketball are played at the Activity Center.. Games are generally played Monday & Wednesday evenings.
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament Get 3 of your best ballin' friends and come play for a chance to win great prizes and be the best of the best. Prizes include individual medals, T-shirts, and Memphis Grizzlies tickets.
